Nitin Putcha, DO - Chief Executive Officer
Dr. Nitin Putcha is a Board Certified and highly skilled specialist in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation with greater than 5 years of experience treating a wide variety of sports, brain, spine, and musculoskeletal injuries. Dr. Putcha completed his residency training at the University of Miami/ Miller School of Medicine. He is the founder and Chief Executive Officer of National Health Rehabilitation.
Amishi Dharia, DO - Chief Operating Officer
Dr. Amishi Dharia is a Board Certified Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation physician. Her goal is patient empowerment to strive toward the body’s natural, optimal state of structure/function. Dr. Dharia completed her residency at New York Presbyterian Hospital - Columbia and Cornell. She is the Chief Operations Officer of National Health Rehabilitation and a clinical physiatrist.
Dr. Oghenevwogaga Ophori, MD - Regional Managing Director
Oghenevwogaga Ophori MD is a Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation Physician based in South Florida. Training includes Medical School at New Jersey Medical School UMDNJ/ Rutgers; one year of internship in Internal Medicine New York Hospital Queens/ New York Presbyterian; residency completed at Jackson Memorial Hospital / University of Miami. Dr Ophori is currently the Southeast Managing Director of National Health Rehabilitation based in South Florida.
Dr Ophori's current focus is on subacute rehab with the goal of improving patient care and the relationship between patient, physician, as well as family within the subacute facilities. He aims at eliminating barriers to patients receiving optimal therapy and thus maximizing functional outcomes. Dr Ophori has a strong background in musculoskeletal medicine and is skilled at performing joint injections for improving pain and ROM of both upper and lower extremity joints. Quality of life is extremely important in the elderly community. Dr Ophori ensures his presence, as well as the expanding presence of NHR Physiatrists in Florida centers, improves the quality of life in all patients that are encountered.
Dr Ophori also has an inpatient focus with the goal of continuity of care. He believes it is important for improved patient outcomes to be followed by a familiar physician from the time of initial acute hospital stay to transitioning to acute rehab to subacute or home. The relationship between patient and physician is strengthened through this process, eliminating gaps in care and thus decreasing likelihood of adverse outcomes.
David Mahon, DO - Chief Medical/Informatics Officer
Dr. Mahon is a Board Certified Physiatrist who has subspecialty fellowship training in Sports Medicine. He strives to always provide high value care for his patients, spending however much time is necessary with patients and their families in order to fully understand their concerns and develop a comprehensive treatment plan. Dr. Mahon trained in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation at Temple University Hospital and MossRehab, where he served as chief resident. He then completed a Sports Medicine fellowship in San Diego. He is currently earning an MBA from Saint Joseph’s University. Dr. Mahon is Chief Medical/Information Officer of National Health Rehabilitation. He enjoys playing a variety of sports, traveling off the beaten path, and spending any free time with his wife and daughters.
David Sucharski, VP of Business Development
Dave is an arts-educated business leader, bringing out of the box thinking and creative solutions to healthcare business development. He joined National Health Rehabilitation in 2016 with many years of experience in skilled nursing and healthcare. Before serving as NHR’s VP of Business Development, he was Director of Provider Relations for Mid-Atlantic Health Care’s Philadelphia region and worked for Genesis Healthcare and Life Celebration Inc. He is passionate about creating healthcare environments that foster a positive and unique customer/patient experience. Dave has a BS in Psychology and Sociology from Saint Joseph’s University in Philly and a Masters from University of Center Florida. He lives outside of Philadelphia with his wife Leah and daughter Ellie and enjoys a variety of creative and artistic pursuits.
Nikole Rivera, Director of Marketing
Nikole is an energetic and hardworking professional, following her passion in the field of marketing. Before joining National Health Rehabilitation, she was an outreach director for a non-profit organization The Doctors for Health and Wellness. Nikole received her degree in psychology at Ramapo College in New Jersey. She enjoys reading and traveling.
